I just realized I have officially surpassed 10,000 Grateful Dead songs on my computer's HD. Madness, madness I say...why do I love this crazy hobby so much?!

Of course you still need more music if you have room on your hard drive...

yes, it is madness. Just checked my Grateful Dead folder on the hard drive and found over 32,000 files. ok, some of these are text and photos, and some are multiple sources of the same shows, also some jgb, phil, ratdog, hunter, etc... but still. Well, no time to waste, got some more chores to do for the Mrs. before she gets back and catches me on here. he he he

Ah....a military movie trivia question: academy award winner, near final words are "Madness, madness".

Any guesses? No searching!

Okay...back up, and here's another clue (don't ya hate this?): William Holden, along with Jack Hawkins, both yell "kill him!!!" immediately prior (well, last few minutes), and they are unexpectedly, directing this toward the academy award winning actor, Obi Wan...who was supposedly on "their side".

Any help?

Vey good movie and as most know a true story. The truth was that the movie was so far removed from reality the soldiers/ survivors wanted to stop it because it was so far from the real event..David Lean directed the same guy who did Laurence of Arabia .Just some minor trivia facts.

Yes, and there were actually 24 bridges if I recall, and my childhood neighbor, dad of a friend, was one of the B-25 bomber pilots that repeatedly attempted to take them out, with the first, as I understand it, of various "not so dumb" bombs, etc., etc. Or at least so the memory goes.

If you go for Kwai, and LoArabia, be sure to find The Hill, which is one of the best "war" movies of all time, though focused on the drama in a Brit prison in North Africa in WWII. Amazing performance by Sean 007 C, and many others.
